That Chrono Trigger thing that was posted a while back. Numjarra or some such thing.
The Mega Man television show was alright. "Super fighting robot, MEGA MAN!" Wasn't that, like, the extent of the lyrics. "Super fighting robot, MEGA MAN! Super fighting robot, MEGA MAN! Super fighting robot, MEGA MAN! Super fighting robot, MEGA MAN! Super fighting robot, MEGA MAN! Fighting to save, the world, world world!" The Wandering God |

The Disgaea Anime is super-great-liquid-candy-in-an-IV-that-won't-kill-you-good.
Although it does deviate from the game plot sigificantly in many places.

Where would one procure the Disgaea anime from? Is it one movie, or a series following the game? I also recomment FFU, which was ok. FFVII: Advent Children is also excellent

I still wanna look at Tekken. Don't ask me why. It seems like it'd make a good series.

I wish Guilty Gear had actually been made into a full-fleged Goddamn anime, instead of teasing us with the terribly-dubbed Guilty Gear X intro.

I got it from a "source" subbed, but they do have have it for sale on the Nippon Ichi website.
They also have the manga adaptations of both Disgaea games for sale, if you are interested. There is also several novelizations of the games, with one being the actual game, and one taking place 10 years after the game. I do not know if there is an english translation of the books. And soon they will have Prinny Plushies. Also, Netherworld Battle Chronicle Disgaea is an OAV series. It has 12 episodes.

Star Ocean EX is an Anime version of the Game Star Ocean 2, redoing the first One-Third the game in Anime form. Then right before they jump to the next continent, the show suddenly stops. The show suffers from mild animation and pretty much half of it revolving around hinting that the main two characters like each other from the start, keep getting close to showing it, then never say anything, look embarrased and walk away. Cute the first time. Funy a few more times. By episode 24 you just want Rena to take a 'vacation'.
Admittedly I didn't watch much of the Disgaea Anime but it had mild animation with no connection to the games and pretty much just the characters doing random chibi stuff and fanservice. The Ragnarok Anime is pretty bad from the little I saw. Correction, it was pointless, like watching the game on a show. Characters walking around fighting randomly appearing monsters. Utawarerumono. This show is based off a Strategy game that has a few Hentai scenes at the end. But it was later made as a non-Hentai game (since 99% of it isn't a Hentai game once you take the 20 or so Hentai still images out of it) and just released on the PS2 and PC. It goes from cheap animation in some scenes to AMAZING animation in others, but then recycles the good animation because of its tight budget. But the show itself is really quite good character and story wise once it hits episode 3 on, seeing as how the original game was based around a strong character driven story. And in the absence of a Suikoden Anime, this is the closest thing that has yet to be made, featuring quite a bit of things you'd find in a Suikoden game (like a character-driven story, the races, the environment, the warfare, the characters abilities and some specific scenes). There's 2 Fire Emblem Animes, but I haven't seen them. I want to see the Pokemon series, but I have only been able to get my hands on the first movie and 3 episodes of the WHOLE series in th....format, I desire. But the first movie is really good. MewTwo rocks. I was so extatic when I saw MewTwo in Smash Bros. There's that old FF OAV 'based on FFV' (its not but it says that on the cover). 2 episodes and I think it was just a stand alone OAV of something else that got cancelled because it wasn't going anywhere they stuck the FF name on when they brought it to the US. That's the only explination I can come up with. There's nothing in that OAV I can link to a FF game except a mountain and a coal car? Are they trying to say a overly used location in RPGs (and other genres) links something to FF? Final Fantasy Unlimited I didn't see past episode 1. The first episode was like the beginning of FFTA. Little kids transported to a world not their own. Only this one is inhabited by a Tifa and Auron clone and I don't even remember what they fight.... .Hack was an Anime and a Game at the same time. Designed and created by a team who usually does Anime and never did games but worked with Bandai's game development group to make a game. The Anime bored me though...others love it however. If you like watching a story about people who are playing an MMORPG talking to people who are playing an MMORPG about their characters who are playing an MMORPG....this is the show for you. Sonic X I got....never watched. Sorry guys. I need to watch my stuff, I know. But Sonic X is 52 episodes and, although it has Amy, Cream, Vanilla and Rogue in it, it still looks like its gonna hurt my head. Yes, even with that winning combination. I already tried watching the new Pokemon series (Daimond/Pearl) and that hurt my head and I LIKE Pokemon... Imagine what this show could do to me... Tales of Phantasia came out with a 4 episode OAV based on the game which is pretty much just the key points of he game redone in REALLY NICE animation. So of course, since its all done in the style of my favorite Manga artist, Fujishima Kosuke, I ate it up. Plot-wise, it leaves much to be desired, even if you played TOP. Characterwise, its fun, but mostly just if you like the characters to begin with. Personally, I don't think you're gonna get anything new out of Mint or Cleff. Typical Hero and Typical Healer/Belldandy 'oh!'. But Archie and the others are WELL worth the short watch. XenoSaga was UGLY. That's all I gotta say. No seriously, I wanted to watch this thing and its VERY rare for me to stop watching an Anime based on how it looks . I even watched Lost Universe, a show that had an animation budget a virtually 0 dollars, and I liked it. But I tried watching XenoSaga the Anime just to see what it was all about, because I knew I was never going to stomach 3 60 hour movies of pressing X, and whoever they got to be the character designer for the show should have their sensation of touch removed from their hands. Zone of the Enders I want to see, but kind of don't at the same time since its not the people in ZOE2.
