I get the feeling that our little guardian monk is totally NPC. But as long as Ishva is alive I suppose Akamaz could come back. So just don't cause death or anything.

Yeah, consider her NPC and along the same lines as Gorn, Arne, Mithik, yadda yadda, at this point. I generally don't have characters completely disappear from the story even if their original posters do. Unless the story just started and we can sort of glaze over some random PC disappearance...But we're getting into the flesh of it now, so Ishva stays!

Hmm, if Azisien or Akamaz wouldn't mind, I could take over Ishva maybe? Once I get Ari into permanent hideout in the Border house he'll be actionless, so controlling Ishva would allow me to join in on the burning-tree-mecha (has it been made a mecha yet?) fighting fun...plus, I have an idea for a way Ari can ...ease Ishva out of the story for good if need be, but only if Akamaz is definitely not on the return.

He's been active elsewhere on the forums/RP forums. I'm assuming non-notified dropout. Ishva is yours if you want her.

Oh, if it wasn't completely obvious from my latest post, the "cavalry" is you guys. So you're now with Bentis.

Probably a funny scene, since it will look like he's singlehandedly killed eight or nine Venurians.
