Feudorian Legends: The Crimson Throne Discussion 1

Okay, now that my computer has recovered from that sudden crash, let me try to explain this once again so that everyone is on the same page. Here we go...

Because there are so many signups, y'all'll be split into parties of five and sent into separate chains of hazardous dimensions. Team Awsum Sawce will be sent down the Crimson Coil. Team Safety Dance* will be sent down the Azure Coil.

Team Awsum Sawce Members
Deathkiss (Akamaz) - A priestess who pulled a coup de etat on her priesthood, failed, and is atoning by being confined to a levitating two-handed sword named Deathkiss. Seeks the throne to break the curse.
Drake Velstein (Inbred Chocobo) - A talented gunsmith who is field testing a special gatling gun prototype that can fire magically-charged crystals, a joint project with a skilled wizard.
Firenze (PyrosNine) - The Elemental Prince of Fire who has unwisely chosen to go on one last adventure instead of just hosting a bachelor party before he is to be married to the Elemental Princess of Water.
Katsu Heero (Mintaro) - A preteen youth as fast as Sanjuro is strong. Seeks Sanjuro out to hear the rest of the great story Sanjuro was halfway through telling when staying with him and his three sisters.
Sanjuro Yamada (TheBlindMime) - A man as strong as he is stupid, but don't say that to his face, lest he smash yours. From Soldiers of Light fame, Yamada-san has punched a hole in time-space to work with Firenze.

Team Safety Dance Members
Hannah Whiteflower (Zilla) - A kindhearted healer and medicinal herbalist who has helped many adventurers with her life-saving skills. Has a dark side to her that lusts for the throne.
Ixith Sargath (Toastburner B) - A brave and honorable dragonian that adventurers for pride and thrills. His primary reason for entering the dungeon is to seek out a couple of missing adventurer friends.
Lyle Goodbarrel (Masked Jedi) - A halfling who drinks like a fish, brawls like a champion, and likely doesn't have a good reputation anywhere you look. His designs for the throne are unknown, but are clearly self-centered.
Martyk Borden (rapter200) - An ex-whipping boy who turned his masters into corpses and their son into his bonestaff. Uses souls to expand his power and seeks the throne to further his own diabolical ambitions.
Revan (h4x.m4g3) - An immense collection of single-celled organisms that form one morphological being capable of speaking to monsters. Enters the dungeon to meet and befriend new creatures.

So, there you have it. Remember, Team Awsum Sawce is assigned to the Crimson Coil and Team Safety Dance is assigned to the Azure Coil. That is all from me for now. Now to get to work on those two RP threads.

* Team Playing It Safe shall hereby be referred to as Team Safety Dance, so sayeth the Bishoujo.

I would post now, but I just watched some Ghost Stories and I can't seem to stop myself acting snarky and sarcastic, especially with a character that hasn't seen any roleplay yet. If I posted now, it would forever taint her character with smart-assness, and I know that's not what I had in mind when I made her, so I'm going to wait for a bit while this mood drifts off before I try posting again, hopefully with a more calm and delicate character.

Well, Firenze and Sanjuro are old hands at holding magical, possibly cursed weapons.

Though the weapons actually talking to them is somewhat rare.

Wielding a sword that dispenses pleasure so isn't sanjuro's style. Also you'd have to be unbreakable, cause... c'mon sanjuro yamada.

The gate Kimonos won't fight you, even though Team Safety Dance doesn't quite know that yet. They're there simply to remind you that the various hotties and monsters in the castle and the courtyard won't kill you. Chat 'em up all you like, but the Kimonos won't fight you, won't travel you, and definitely won't have sex with you.
