What Games Are Totally Awesome, And You Totally Had To Go Out Of Your Way To Buy?

And are totally sitting on your shelf collecting dust? This goes for movies, too. I've got a ton of movies sitting on my shelf right now, movies that I love and will defend to the death, constantly telling everyone how awesome they are.... and yet I haven't seen any of them since I bought them.

You go to the video store, you rent a movie, you decide that it's awesome, you go out of your way to buy it and.... then what? Now you can write your name in the dust that it's collected. D'you guys have this problem?

Xenogears and Grandia II.

I played them both a little, but...newer games came out that they were relegated to "Later."

Edit: Oh, I didn't read the post completely. It would be No More Heroes. I don't play it not because it is not awesome, but because I have very limited time with my Wii (only during weekends right now), so I have to spread that between NMH and Brawl. Right now I'm doing one assassin per week and I'm already rank VI. It's awesome.

Persona 3. I played it for a bit but... Gah! TOO MANY GAMES! So now it's in the shelf, collecting dust...Because I'm getting FES.

This applies to me a little bit, with regards to DMC4 (I bought a ps3 to play this game), although I haven't played it in over 2 weeks. But that's only because I've been playing my other new games as well, but I fully intend to go back to DMC4 at some point.

Mass Effect. I stopped playing when I got Halo 3, then DMC 4 came out, now I just don't feel like playing it...

I mean, its not THAT awesome, but it applies to the thread topic.

Opened it.
Played for a few hours, now it sits in his room, looking pretty on the shelf.

Radiata Stories. I wanted that game for so long, then I got it, and it was okay, but I guess I just wasn't in the mood for it so now it sits there, waiting for me to get in the mood to play it.

WindWaker. I got a Wii, realized I could now play GameCube games, went out and bought WindWaker, got to the point where I have to go track down pieces of a map or something... and haven't played it since. My excuse? Super Paper Mario.
