"Mortal Kombat" Vs. DC announced

It seems MK vs. DC is THE MK8, so we can rule out the possibility that MK8 and this crossover are different games.

Another fighting series jumps the sh-Oh wait, Mortal Kombat. Never mind.

It's funny, when my brother showed me this I didn't notice the top of the mask and just said "Batman?" as a joke.

Then I looked higher, and died inside.

I've thought of and heard of some strange crossovers in the past, but wow.

There won't be any fatalities in this game. Just ultra super duper finishing moves. Think Final Smashes.

I don't see what's so awful about this.

Last time we got a comic crossover (Marvel vs Capcom) it was pretty great.

I'll buy it.

Last time we got a comic crossover, the videogame side had good characters and a decent track record with fighting games.

So? It was still fun as hell.

Granted of course Midway isn't the best developer of all time, and Mortal Kombat lately has kind of sunk under the giant piles of fantastic fighting games, Guilty Gear, Soul Calibur, Tekken just to name a few.

But I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt to play Batman or Superman stomping some evil undead Scorpion ass.

I dont really care for DC, but I actually like MK (yea, the newer games have been just okay) so Im interested.
