Default The Invention of Lying

Ricky Gervais just changed society and, oh! Started a religion. What have you done with your life recently?

Pretty good movie. Not a lot of clarity with how a world without lying works - for instance, even without lying why on earth is everyone so candid? Maybe it's supposed to be a cultural thing. And I mean, I'm not sure the concept of all powerful deities can be ascribed to an intentional lie. Anyway, not really the point.

It was funny. Very poignant at multiple spots in the movie. Lot's of 'slice-of-life' from a very unique perspective.

I took my wife to see this. As Christians we were both rolling at the religion scenes. They poke fun at Christianity without seeming like they had agenda. I also liked all the commercials and advertisements in the movie. Jennifer Garner does a good job of showing real character growth in the movie which I think is one of the hardest things as an actor or actress.
