Music CD software
Hey I was wondering what you guys and gals use to make music CD's. My new computer came with Roxio, but I can't find it to download off suprnova, and I need to get something on my moms computer so she can burn cds, any suggestions?

Try using packetnews to find it on mIRC. That's what my roommate does when he wants a program.

I like Nero. Its not free, but you can get it "free" if you look in the right places, *cough* Suprnova *cough*. My favorite thing about it is the logical, easy to use interface.

Bah, the new versions of Winamp stink. I run Winamp 2.78, the last good version.

Anyway, the cd burner... I use an old copy of Nero that I got from questionable methods. I don't do that stuff anymore, so I'm kind of stuck with it for now until I can afford something better. But yeah, Nero is the software I like most. If you're really desperate, the windows media player can burn music cds, and Windows XP has a drag-and-burn function which allows you to burn files to a blank cd as if it were just a floppy disk. Hope that helped.

I have a moral objection to AOL's existance, and so I refuse to use any version of Winamp created after they were bought by AOL. So no, I havn't tried it. Besides, I've found new versions of programs lately tend to be bloatware. I don't need an mp3 player that can burn CDs. i want an mp3 player that can play mp3s in the background while I play Warcraft III without causing a performance hit. Reasons like that are why I run Firefox. I use Trillian instead of AIM and MSN. Etc etc.
