Dialogue index?

Please just correct me if this is already implemented somewhere, but I often find myself talking to someone and thinking, "Hey, there's an 8-bit that would be a KILLER FUNNY REFERENCE to this," but I can rarely find the one I want. Even if I think I know approximately where in the archive it is, it can be so frustrating to find that I usually give up.

So I was thinking that there could be a simple index of quotes and lines through which a person could quickly search and be referred to the original comic. This would make 8-bit more readily equipped to become a part of internet legend, like the jargon lexicon, as people across the net can quickly find a particular episode and make reference to it.

I reiterate that if this is already featured somewhere then forgive my ignorance and pleaes point me to it.

By the way, nice new forum. It even inspired me to register for the first time, though I've been reading the strip for over a year.

I'm not aware that there is one, so we should all team up and build it. Ok, first we need a nice clean thread (like this one) Then have people post the quote, number and link of their favrite quotes.

The *kinda* Offical Way Of Doing Thingies Like This Will Be As Follows.

"Quote" - Character Name Comic Number (linked to the comic)

And once we get about 50 or so, I shall compile them into one list, and release it for everyone.

this system won't work to make a real index, it's just a random collection of people's favorite lines. For an actual index, someone'd need to go through every comic and wright down every single line. It would be really cool, but that's a huge amount of work, that's why no one's done it.
