Forum Games Subforum Rules (Edited) (READ)
Games Forum Rules (2.5 Edition):
The Basics: 1. Generally speaking, games are open to anybody. Some games work by sign-up or invitation only. Mind the difference. 2. Games will be locked whenever they get spammy or we decide they've gone on long enough. Starting a game: 1. If you have a new game idea, let us know in the game talk forum. If it sounds okay a moderator will give you the go-ahead on it. 2. Write up a first post explaining the game and rules and then post it up in the forum. A moderator will look it over and approve it if it looks okay. In-game rules and behavior: 1. Think before you post, guys. We don't tolerate spam and idiocy anywhere else in the forum, there's no reason for you to think we'll stand for it here. 2. As said before, each game will have its own rules. Make sure you're following them. 3. Just because you've started a game doesn't mean you own it. It's a community game, not your personal petty dictatorship. Yes some games do require one person to run them but that doesn't require you to be a bossy jerk. 4. If an issue arises please let a moderator/admin know. We can't be everywhere watchin' everything, you know. Consequences We'd like to keep admonishments directed towards specific posters, but if things get too spammy, dramatic, or generally out of hand threads can and will be closed. Like I said earlier, that post limit is entirely at mod discretion. And finally The most important rule - Have Fun!
