Well...the tattoos leave behind a residue* that is picked up by X-ray machines. So if he ever breaks his bones. HE'S FUCKED unless that bone is sticking out of him cause the docs gonna look at the X-ray and be like "you're bones a perfectly fine, run along now!".

*This may or may not be true

I don't think they'd cause cancer, that color under UV is actually found in a whole bunch of animals.
