Forums went down.

The forums just went down for a few minutes. It wasn't my internet, b/c other websites were working fine.

I did a search on google when they did that to me just a few minutes ago, and all of the comic websites I tried to visit were down.

Well, I was already here, and Men in Hats was working, as was Counter Culture.

I went down the google list and they were all down for about a minute, and when one came up, I could access nuklear again.

Alright, this is getting annoying. As in, it just happened agian. What in the 7 hells is wrong?

Far as I can tell, it's you. Your connection to the forums or server or something.

There's nothing we can do about it, so really this thread isn't going to help. If it were server-related, then it would be Pierre doing something, and it would be finished soon enough, and the problem would go away.

So, that's that really.

In addition to that, some of you have gotten in the habit lately of making threads like this (and sending me PMs) for every little twitch in the forums you run across. Please save it for something that's really important, okay? Also keep in mind that us mods are usually looking at the forums at least once a day -- if something really catastrophic goes wrong, we'll probably know about it before most of you do. It's good that you want to help keep the boards running smoothly, but a few of you are taking it a little too far. Remember what happened to the boy who cried Chicken Little and all that.

It's okay -- the minute after I posted that I got the same problem you did. :D Serves me right. Apparently it's a problem with nuklearpower.com itself, so when it goes down, everything attached to it does too. We don't know why it's happening, but Pierre's looking into it. Grin and bear it until whatever it is gets worked out, I guess.
