I'm unhappy about it. It's unfair, to say the least, and unjustified. Even before the big upswing of our dollar, the discrepancy wasn't that large. I hope something is done to address it, but I doubt that either company will be too zealous because it's going to make them extra profit.

Europe is getting even more screwed over, apparently. That doesn't make it right, but it goes to show that the problem has existed for some time and that neither company has exactly sprung to fix it.

Well... it's always been this way. I'm used to it, really. It's not just video games, either... if anyone collects Games Workshop products, you may or may not know that we are being GOUGED like crazy. The already-overpriced guys cost (last I checked) 45$ canadian for 16, in one case, and 30$ US for the same.

Anyway... I don't care much for the price discrepancy, but I don't care much about it either. Can't say the same for PAL countries (later release dates are also stupid and pointless).

/me has played chaos warriors and Tyranids for 4 years.

I worked at a Games-workshop store in London for 6 months, The literally didn't care about shoplifting, as they were making over 600% profit on just about everything....

so i stole...

Why does Europe get so little in Marketplace content?

While everybody in the US and Canada were enjoying their Armored Core demo they got from Marketplace, I was going without ANY news on that game.

We're really getting shafted on that point.

In unrelated news, maybe we should all just have a unified world monetary dealy where every country uses the same monetary standards. My preference is that we all just hand out chunks of gold and buy stuff with gold. That'd be cool!

It took... what? 2 years? 3 years for the Euro to come into realization?
And that consisted of only a "mere" 12 countries, I think.

Imagine doing that to the entire world.
We'd be happy if by the next century the currency were introduced. =P
