Well there's yer problem!

What in the world is Red Mage holding?
I have wondered for ages what Red Mage is holding... Does anyone know what that big round thing is in this comic?
http://www.nuklearpower.com/2006/03/...y-innovations/ All my searching on the internet has yielded only the possibility that it MAY have something to do with Warhammer 40K. |

That is from the game Mage Knight.
It was also used in a Mechwarrior figure game, and something called "Heroclix"

I'll have to look those up; I can't say I've heard of any of those. My nerdy is no match for Brian's nerdy.

Well, the company went under, so they're no longer made pretty much.

I can't really make heads or tails about the details of the wiki article, but short version is that they're still being made, at least until they've produced all of the unreleased figures. SWB

I always thought it was just the little stand you put model figurines and figures on to keep them stable and provide a little info on the figure.

Just so I know, everybody noticed that it said "Fighter McWarrior" on the side, right? For some reason, I need this assurance.
I always thought it was some mathematical figure with weird geometry, wondered what it was, and forgot about it by the next comic. Which is sad, because there WAS another comic by the time I got to that point. Several more, actually. That in itself is a little sad, because I'm a fast reader. Point is, I haven't a clue, either.
