META-MAFIA! A game about Mafia games!

I have run it by Fenris, and he gave me the green-light, so here we are, signing up to play Meta-Mafia.

What is Meta-Mafia? It's a game, -about- a game of Mafia. Because this is possibly confusing, I'll give an example. Know how Fenris is always suspected to be scum, no matter what he is? Well, the Miller role will be flavored to be a Fenris-like character. Additionally, there will be sub-plots and games to play within Meta-Mafia, to really make it meta. Mafia will be happening, but so will other things.

Why play Meta-Mafia? Because I'm awesome at running games that are fun. It is my personal guarantee to you all that no matter who you are, you will be given something interesting to do. Even "vanilla" characters will be involved in the intrigue and mystery. Aside from the straight Town/Scum division, various characters may have motivations of their own, within their faction. Each character will be fleshed, with their own secrets and powers, and whoever can figure out how to tie this all together will be most successful at Meta-Mafia.

What's new in Meta-Mafia? Things have been stale here. Mafia games have been running low on participants. Meta-Mafia is not going to be run as a straight mafia game, if that was unclear from the above description. There will be a backdrop of the mafia game, and if that's all you're interested in, that's all you need to interact with! But there will be drama and mystery to solve, between the characters. Someone might have a vendetta against another player, and want their secrets to be revealed to all, as an example of this sub-drama. These will be objectives for your character to accomplish, aside from the overarching mafia game.

Where do I sign?! Right here! Sign up, and when I have enough people, I'll send out PMs with all your information and start the game. It's up to you guys whether or not you want to use the pseudonym accounts or actual forum accounts, cast your vote when you sign up.

I'm in. While I may like to know an example of a meta-character, I'm not sure if that'd ruin some of the surprise or what not.

Do you guys have a preference for anonymity or not? And as for the flavor of the personas, I will likely assign them at random, so it's not saying anything about what I think of you. :P

Even after I learned, grew up, and came to be on the right side of a lot of important issues, I was still angry, abrasive, and generally increased the amount of hate in the world, in pretty unacceptable ways. On the off chance that someone is taking a trip down memory lane looking through those old threads, I wanted to devote my signature to say directly to you, I'm sorry.
