Mac Help, Symbols Keep Popping Up On Screen
I have a Macbook running 10.6.7. When I push the shift, fn, ctrl, option/alt, and command keys once, the symbol for that key pops up onto the screen, and the next button press I make is modified as if I was holding that key. If I double-tap it, the symbol stays on the screen and everything I push until I tap the key again acts like I was holding that key. I think I might have accidentally hit a shortcut or something.
Wasn't able to find anything by myself, so I submit myself to the tender mercies of the forum. |

I don't like them, but hindered folks might!
Check to see if you activated Mac's sticky keys. You can look in your System Preferences -> Universal Access config to see if it's on.

Thank you, that was it. Have no idea how I turned that on.
