Default Codex: 8-Bit Theatre for Warhammer 40,000!

(Note: Work in Progress codex that ive just done for fun. Fan-Codices are a 40k Fanatics fanfic, as a 40k Fanfic is just fluff.)
(note: Finished Codex will have additional units and armies)

You may use the Light Warriors as a stand-alone army, or as another detachment.


Codex: 8 Bit Theatre

The Light Warriors
HQ- 1 Theif
Elites- 1 Black Mage, 0-2 Elven Knights*
Troops- Fighter, Red Mage, 0-2 Elven Infantry*
Fast Attack- 0-1 Black Belt, 0-2 Elven Cavalry*, 0-1 Elven Knights*
Heavy Support- 0-1 White Mage, 0-1 Giant Strike*

Wargear: Thief Power Knifes, Throwing Daggers
Options: may buy a Crossbow for +1 point
Special Rules: Theif: May steal an enemy's wargear In close combat. To represnt this, you may choose one item of enemy wargear to steal, forfeiting d3 attacks. if your oppoent rolles under a 4+ to resist the theft, the item cannot be used in that turn.
Backstab: if charging, theif may be repositioned behind the enemy in close combat,
Independent Character

Wargear: Mages Staff,2 Daggers (close combat weapons.)
Options: May upgrade staff to staff-chucks (see wargear) for +15 points
Special Rules:
HADOKEN!: Used as a normal psychic power. If the test is succesful, place the ordinace blast template on any enemy model within 24". Models under the template suffer a Str 10 Ap 1 hit, that removes D3 wounds with NO save allowed WHATSOEVER! However, BM may only use this once per game, and if he fails the test, may not use it!
Magic!: May choose up to three Minor Psychic Powers.
Independent Character

Special Rules:
Scrutinize rules: Red Mage allows you to re-roll D3 failed dice rolls. Any roll may only be re-rolled once.
Magic!: May choose up to three Minor Psychic Powers.
Independent Character

Options: May buy Mages staff in exchange for Shortbow for + 5 points
Special Rules:
Heal: This psychic power is used at the start of the movement phase. If the power is cast successfully, an freidnly model within 12" (including White Mage herself) may either recover D3 wounds (up to the previous maximum of wounds EG of fighter recovers 3 wounds, but had only been reduced to 2, hes back at 3 wounds) or all freindly models within 2D6 inches recover 1 wound (note: only applies to multiple wound characters/creatures)
Hammer: Counts as a Thunder Hammer
Independent Character

-Fast Attack- 0-1 Black Belt

Special Rules: Counts as being armed with two powerfists (bonus attack above)

WARGEAR
Shortbow: Rng 12", Str 3, AP N/A, Assault 1
Crossbow: Rng 24", Str 4, Ap 6, Assault 1
Longbow: Rng 36", Str 5, Ap 5, Heavy 1
Throwing Knifes: Rng 12", Str 3, Ap 6, Rapid Fire
Mages Staff: wounds on a 2+ in close combat, counts as a bolter in ranged combat. Requires two hands to weild, so may not be used in conjuction with any other close combat weapon
Power Sword-Chucks:Power Sword Chucks add D3 attacks each turn instead of having +1 for two close comabte weapons, and ignore normal saves. However, any misses rolled instead hit the wielder!
Staff-Chucks: may be used as Sword-Chucks in Close Comabt, except that they wound ENEMIES on a 2+ instead of ignoring normal saves. May be used as a ranged weapon, where it is Range 12", Str 6, AP 2, Assault 2

I thought Hadoken would use the flamer blast marker, but then again, ordnance blast seems reasonable too...

i think that the white mage is over powered for only 70 points. heal all units within 12 inches by 1?!?that is really good because all the the units you have so far have more than one wound.also i think that you piled on the power weapons a little to much.
