Suggest me Westerns!
I'll admit, i'm not that large a fan of westerns, but i need inspiration for an Old West campaign i'll be starting (using GURPS. d20 past is too campy for me). I need movies!

Westerns, eh?
Well, if you want cheesy "comedy," there's always Will Smith's "Wild Wild West." If you're looking for a real western though, check out some old Clint Eastwood flicks. He did pretty well with those. Out of any of them, I liked "Pale Rider" the best. "Two Mules for Sister Sara" wasn't too bad either. Finally, as much of a somewhat-chick-flick as it is, "Desperado," could work... then again, so could "The Mask of Zorro." Hope that helps.

What about Siergo Leone westerns, such as "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly"? That's basically the only one I can name by title (if you don't count "Fistful of Dynamite", because it really is too borderline a western to be helpful) and it's the quintessential western.
I think "For a few dollars more" could also be useful, but I'm not 100% sure about the title (how many of these have "dollars" in the title?).

Tombstone might also fit the bill, has a good plot as well that you could adapt if you wanted.

Start out with Sergio Leon and his spahgetti westerns (named spahgetti because they were filmed in Italy, yet set in America), the 3 top ones are the "man with no name" trillogy, A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. After that, try any Clint Eastwood western such as "the Outlaw Josey Wales", and "Unforgiven" is particularly good. Also, see "the Magnificient Seven" which is based upon Kurosawa's "The Seven Samurai", (other Leon movies are also based upon Kurosawa movies)
Also, go see some good John Wayne movies. Theres a ton of these, some good ones, "How the West was Won", "McLintock!", "El Dorado", "True Grit" and so on. Then try some more Sergio Leon movies like "Once upon a Time in America".

'Blazing Saddles', anyone? Well, that and Tombstone, maybe... but I'm not a big Val Kilmer Fan...
