Save Fallout 3 Petition
Given the recent shut-down of Black Isle Studios, someone decided to start a petition to save Fallout 3. So far its got about 21,000 signatures.
http://www.petitiononline.com/f3f3fnow/ Interplay HAS to be on the fence about what to do about Fallout 3; otherwise, I would lose all faith in humanity. |

The thing about online petitions? They don't work.

Also, Black Isle was NOT shut down. Found that out at Interplay's forums just now. Link. Granted, many employees were fired, but Black Isle is still running, although that probably won't last long.
And yes, online polls don't work. You'd have to have a million sigs in order to get Interplay to listen. Of course, by firing most, if not all, of the Fallout 3 development team, they basicly killed Fallout 3, and probably sealed Black Isle's doom. |

I don't bite... hard.

There is every possibility that Black Isle only lives on as a name that Interplay can tack onto a game. As nothing but a name and an empty shell. Sort of like what happened to Origin.

Fallout 3 is probably on permanent hold, and the preorder date at work for Baldur's Gate 3 was just changed from February (As in next month) to January (As in next year). I'd probably be willing to bet that Priest's scenario is a very likely one.
