Default Favorite Survival Horror Game?
I have reached a roadblock in my quest for games of the scary kind.

Anyone have suggestions?

Silent Hill Series, Resident Evil Series, F.E.A.R. and its expansions, System Shock 1 and 2, Bioshock, The Darkness, Area 51.

I recommend Bioshock and Resident Evil 4. The former is an incredible, meaningful, and above all, creepy, game. The latter is not quite as scary as the others in the series, but its more like an action game. I'm not a big fan of survival horror. These aren't neccesarily survival horror, but they are scary games.

First thing that comes to mind, is The Suffering. The sequel was okay, but that first one got a lot of "WTF?!" expressions from me. It also has an intense Psychological element to it, which I really liked.

I haven't really played very many, but I'd have to say Clive Barker's Undying. Resident Evil 4 was good too.
