Open Gaming Weekend: GTA IV

It's late news to me, but you have about 40 minutes to register for the free GTA IV weekend

I'm on, and who knows, I might see you on there.

Bought the game, got far enough to buy a hot dog and ram a gas station, put it back in the case and never got it back out again.

Why dont I want to play this??!

I got about far enough to hit that STUPID FUCKING TRAIN mission. You know, Puerto Rican Connection? Where you have to get into a car and follow a train without letting it get out of your sight so you can kill the guys on it? Except that it doesn't make sense that you can't let it out of your sight because it's ON GODDAMN TRACKS AND YOU KNOW WHAT STOP THEY'RE GETTING OFF AT ANYWAY.

I haven't played this game for months, and it's ONLY because of this one mission.

This is multiplayer, you know.

I don't know if it's too late to sign up, but I think it's started.

Edit: I've played multiplayer too, and it's quite fun. There's a lot of fun modes to play in. My housemates like the Free Run mode where you just run around the city and cause destruction. I like Cops N Crooks, where one team tries to outrun the other team and make it to the getaway vehicle.

There's three team-based missions too, but they're rather easy. There's also standard racing, which is quite fun though I've never made any money on that. There's GTA Race, where you try to blow up the other people and carjack your way across the finish line.

All in all, I enjoy the mutliplayer, and I'm going to like playing it this weekend. I'm not done with the story, I'm on the last island, maybe 6 or so missions in. Every now and then, I plug away at it and try to make progress.
