Language Resource Thread
I know this sounds weird but...here goes.
It seems all the time people are wondering what things say in several languages. I don't know if anyone will approve of this, but why not start a language resource thread? People who know multiple languages could help. Please, no, "i know the language of pie!" posts. This way when we are trying to do things in other languages we might have a place to go. Right now I'm looking for someone who knows Italian pretty well, to translate some italian ska songs I've been listening to. As for me... -I know Spanish almost fluently (was born in Madrid) -I've been taking Japanese for 3 years. I doubt it'll get stickied, and because of this, for everyone who's wondering, just write down the names of the people who contribute for the future.

Well, I can help you if you ever need a guy who can speak Dutch and translate it to English or a minimum of German (just the minimum)... Don't think you'd ever need me, but it never hurts offering your services.

Well...I know finnish and english offcourse...I also speak spanish as my second language (my father is spanish) and some swedish...but not too much though...

I'm not really fluent in any other languages, but as a voice major I'm supposed to be able to pronounce them, as most classical songs are not in english. I've taken two semesters of a class called diction, devoted ENTIRELY to pronunciation rules of Italian, Latin, Spanish, French, and German. So, though I could provide minimal translation help, I'd be glad to help with pronunciation problems, as Diction is one of my best music classes.

But maybe it could be in a more organized way? Just a simple format with like which ones you know? Donno if old posts can be edited like that. Here's hoping more people post. That way, if someone needed something they could just PM the person or post in the thread without clutter.
