Best Old Console (improved)
I got quite a few comments about systems I left out so I decided to make a new thread.

Colecovision was my first entrance into videogaming, and without that I wouldn't be where I am now...attending a college I'm stuggling to pay for. It was worth it.

No one's voted for the NES? Now that just ain't right. It may not have the graphics of the SNES but it has a better game library... well... in my opinion.

i enjoy the coleco as well, but i would have to go for intellivision.
also, there's a big difference between those that are "vintage" and those that are "classic" ex: next gen: ps2 xbox gamecube whatever the hell these were called: n64, psx, jaguar, 3do classic: nes, sega master, sega genisis, super nintendo, atari 7800 vintage: atari 2600, colecovision, intellivision, atari 5200, gemini, odyssey it's fairly hard to compare the snes, whitch is prolly the best and i'm thinking now that i prolly should have voted that, and the 2600, whitch proved that gaming libraries could be as deep and varied as they are now! |

SNES has the greatest games ever. Huge library of amazing games that can't be compared.
NES is the original. It started my gaming craze, so it'll always have a place in my heart. Genesis was also great. Not nearly as many great games as SNES, but the games it did have are some of the most amazing. |

SNES has so many RPGs that I could spend years having fun playing just them! Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasies 3, 4, 5, and 6 I believe, Secret of Mana, and much, much more. Not just that, but you have games that made the system famous...like Super Metroid, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Super Mario All Stars. I praise the SNES and its predecessor NES for coming into our lives. They are what began a legacy not to be forgotten.
