Stopping not new comics from blinking as if they are new
I never ever quite understood what determines how long a new comic was advertised with a flashing "NEW" on its image hot link. I assumed it was on some timer but it always appeared more sporadic in practice.
Recently I've learned it is done manually, surprisingly. Just so Brian doesn't have to ever worry about this, why not implement the solution automatically? That is, I'm sure that this website's underlying technology is more than capable of automatically replacing one image with another after some fixed time period (eg. 24-48 hours). If done correctly, this results in Brian worrying about one less thing and thus has additional time to produce more of whatever addictive drug he somehow weaves into his comics. |

The only problem I see with your otherwise infalliable logic is that things that work on a timer tend to, um, not work for Brian. Does he even use an auto-update for the comics anymore? I think not.
