That's really too bad.

Sadly, it was probably heart failure from anorexia, given the mentions in the article about concerns over her low weight. Simply terrible.

When I heard this at work I theorized celebrity, therefore heart exploded due to cocaine or some such thing but I suppose anorexia is a better theory if that's true. Shame.

There's no explanation and I'd actually consider it rude to go "Oh, she had a heart attack due to anorexia just because a news article said she was skinny."

Well, there's a difference between "skinny" and "emaciated," and 32 is pretty young to be having a heart attack otherwise.

That said, no, I don't know. For all I know, she might have had a family history of heart problems. But the article doesn't say anything about that, either. Yahoo also mentions there were no undue chemicals in her system, which, sadly, is everyone's first guess on these things.

Really, though, I'm less concerned with the reason she died (although it not being rad-killing unicorn motorcycles is nice in its own sad way), and more with the fact that it's sad she died at 32.

Until there's some sort of official toxicology and whatnot I really hate debating about what killed so-and-so. When Ledger died and people started bantering that 'playing the Joker killed him' I felt the same way.

Regardless, this is pretty sad. 32 is way too young to die at.

With a bit of bad luck, problems with the heart can happen at pretty young ages. I had a cardiac arrest when i was 17 (I got better), with a BMI that was a hint under 20 (I guess, don't quite remember), still within the normal range, though.

Have to echo others, though, 32's too early to die.

Wait...you had a cardiac arrest? You died at 17 but you got better? You mean you got resuscitated?

It's sad to see another young person die. It's entirely possible that her being so thin might have attributed to her death, but until an autopsy is done (and depending if the family releases said autopsy) we'll just be speculating.
