That's so PC of you

Gaah help! There is too much music on my PC!
Long story short, for the first time in nearly 10 years i jumped from a 20Gb HDD to a 1Tb HDD ... result: Too much space, and i decided to fill it.
I never got around to having a big librabry of music simply because i didn't have room for it, now i do, and i think i wen't a tad overboard... i'm clocking 1.5k music files all mushed in a single page. And i can assure you, the file labels are not as clear as they should be in a good 60% of these. So.. too many songs for me to pick what i want to hear, and too much of a mess for me to cut of the excess... i need to organize this stuff. Any ideas? Maybe some easy to use software? Any other ideas? |

1,500 songs isn't a lot, really :P
You can use Winamp to get the songs' tags (in case they don't have them). Then, you can use this to make any part of the tags (song title, artist, disc, etc) into your songs' file names. That way both your songs' tags and filenames will make sense.
Both Winamp and Mp3tag are free and can identify a lot of audio formats (you can even tag some videos using Mp3tag too )
