Tech Support Sound randomly cuts, starts again

So, I got myself a new HDD due to my previous HDD pretty much breaking down. I noticed I didn't have the drivers to install anything anymore, but last I remember, windows 7 made everything work just fine.

Except that now? Now the sound randomly stops for 1~10 seconds and starts again as if nothing had happened. Sound config tells me there's a jackass plugging and unplugging the cable, but I'm pretty sure it's a driver issue.

Thing is? I have no goddamn idea what'd work. I have onboard sound, on an ASUS P5K Deluxe Wi-fi AP edition motherboard, but apparently what I got wasn't the correct fix. Help ?

Edit: Apparently, there are a lot of different drivers for the motherboard I have, for the same OS version. It's...Interesting. Anyway, I found the right one. Sorry for this thread.
