Considering some of the flounders the CIA has made, putting them under heavy scrutiny, I'd say that's just about a perfect name.
Also, Bushites and Bush-haters, and cynical bastards... lets keep this light hearted, alright? I'd hate to see this turn into a contest to see whether democrats or republicans have the biggest penises.

adamark, did you even read the link you put up? The center was named after George H. W. Bush, you know the first Bush you hated as president, and it was renamed while Clinton was still in office... Just cuz you hate George Dubya's style of... intelligence, doesnt mean its ironic that's the name of the center, give his old man some credit for the knowledge of the world......

I didn't mind GHW's setup of the world. I gotta give some backup to 'higherfat'. at the same time, I also have to say that Higherfat might have phrased it nicer...
Still, the George Bush center for higher learning is an ironic name, since it doesn't say H in the name, and W is a moron. that was for you, Krylo. democrats have the biggest penises. |

This is still the same CIA that thought there was a nuclear silo under Spuzzum, British Columbia, because they couldn't figure out what other purpose the town could possibly be serving. Still, maybe they should be christening the "George Bush Centre For Kids Who Don't Speak Good, And Who Want To Learn To Do Other Things Good, Too". Light-hearted enough for ya?

Well, he did great work as CIA director, so I suppose it makes sense. Also, he is the second greatest president of all time (the greatest being, of course, his son, George W. Bush).
... all right, I didn't really mean that last part. However, I do believe both of their legacies have been and will continue to be unfairly maligned (to an extent), but that's how it's been with most every president. On a side note, I'm still waiting to see if my favourite president, James K. Polk, will get a big memorial in Washington DC sometime. I mean, I know he'll never get it, but there's always hope... I should become a senator just to get one built.

oh your kidding *puts knife away*. Maybe I am biased but naming a perminent goverment facility after a president seems pretty egotistical. Even if the president in question wasn't the one naming it that is how others will view it. Then again it's still Kennedy Space Center so its not something new
