So yeah - airports don't have great eateries... but what they do have are neat convenience shops. So in my travels, I picked up a GamePro, and EGM and a Playstation magazine and was shocked to hear some new news for games I had heard of as well as games I haven't. So without further adieu:


Watchmen
Anyone wanna see Nite Owl and Rorschach kick some ass? Yeah. Written by Len Wein and produced by Snyder. Yeah.

Demon Souls
Apparently you're a dark sorcerer person who resurrects fallen enemies into his own army. Or maybe it's the other way around. I don't know - but the screen shot was nifty.

White Knight Chronicles
This seems pretty awesome, worth a look.

Ninja Blade
Looks pretty sweet. Apparently it's pretty bad though, which means I'll love it.

Parasite Eve: The Third Birthday
Never played the PE series, never knew it had a birthday.

Madworld
Still have no idea what it is or is about.

Batman: Arkham Asylum
Holy fuck why can't I preorder it yet?

Apparently the opening is Batman escorting the Joker (strapped to a thingy wheeled by guards) through Arkham, while the Joker cracks jokes. Then the guards wheel Joker into a cell where Batman isn't allowed to go, and Joker says "Stop me if you've heard this one!" Slips from his bonds, kills the guards, and runs away. A second later, his face appears on the monitors.

Apparently it's equal parts detective/beating people up and a whole lot of awesome.

Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayer
Never heard of this game? Let me explain. No, there is not time, let me sum up: you're a Japanese schoolgirl. In a Bikini. And you're fighting zombies.

Quantam Theory
Castlevania style ad art. That's all I know.

Aliens: Colonial Marines
A new AvP style game? Sounds kinda fun.

Brutal Legend
So yeah. Tim Schaefer. Probably worth a look.

Velvet Assassin
Something to tide me over until Saboteur comes out, I guess.

Yeah. I don't really know much about any of these titles at the moment... what about you guys?

White Knight Chronicles; I've heard some differing opinions on this one. Not sure what to think yet, but what I've seen of the gameplay looks good and it's by Level 5, so it probably will be.

Aliens: Colonial Marines; I laughed when you described this as a "new" AvP style game, 1), because it's not Preds, just Xenos, and 2), because it's far from new. This thing's been in dev hell for years. It's an FPS set on LV426 after Aliens (even though the whole place was supposedly destroyed). Should be good, assuming it ever actually comes out.

Heavy Rain; Photo-realistic graphics, Fahrenheit style interface, but hopefully without the over the top sci-fi/fantasy elements that ruined the end of that game.

inFamous; Electrokinetic superhero. Rudimentary "good/evil" system. Might be good.
