Life-3 is the way to go when dealing with the final boss of the tower... Or you could take the wussy route which is to spam Osmose until he runs out of MP.... takes a hella long time as you can imagine, but it gets the job done.
Oh and I vote for montage. |

Hey, that's a good idea. I'm glad I thought of it.

Yeah, you're straight boned on MagicMaster without Reraise, which means you need to hit Phoenix Cave. You have just enough people to pull it off, so I say you should head there on the double.

Then it is settled.
First the Training Montage then off to the Phoenix Cave. Make up what teams you would like to see. |

BTW.
Ultima's damage is split between targets. If all 4 of your characters are alive when a boss casts it then you're looking at between 5500 damage (for magi-master) and 7500 damage (for Kaiser Dragon and the final Ultima Weapon in Dragon's Den, which we'll probably never see in this let's play anyways)

The cheapass way to beat Magi Master: A Reflect ring on every party member, cast Life 3, and wait.
Alternatively keep Rasping and Osmosing and healing him so that he doesn't die before running out of MP. The Reflect rings are still awesomely cheap though, they stop everything except his final attack.

Float would be useful when using reflect rings. Those Earth spells can't be reflected if I remember correctly.
But does reflect ring reflect life 3? And who needs hit points? There's no challenge when you have too much! |

On the subject of teams, I don't care, just as long as you put You and Loli on a team together. They're perfect for each other! :p
