Ok. Let me make it clear.

Start with Terra or Celes. Equip them as follows:
Lightbringer (formerly known as Illumina, get by betting Ragnarok at the Colosseum. Unless you get the sword Ragnarok in Narshe the only place to get one is stealing from the 3rd phase of the final Kefka fight, I think from the lower half)
Paladin Shield (fight 255 fights with a cursed shield equipped)
Genji Helm (unless you really have something insanely better. Honestly helmet doesn't matter with this build)
Minerva (cause its awesome)

For relics have a Ribbon and Safety Bit.

You have a character either immune to or able to absorb ANY elemental damage, with over 95% magic evasion and regular evasion, who is immune to all status ailments and instant death attacks. Also, since they are using Lightbringer, their attacks pretty much guaranteed critical hits that can sometimes cast Holy. Basically this character is indestructible.

Furthermore, if you wanna have fun with Cyan here is what you do.
Equip Cyan with one of those Imp Halberds. Then have him charge his bushido to two. Then cast imp on him, then hit him. He'll do infinite attacks until all enemies are dead, and it bypasses any counters bosses or regular monsters have, including counters that occur on death, like Magi Master's ultima.

I've no idea if I've even posted before (even if i've been registered for god knows how long) but this Let's Play is hilarious and I just came in for a couple of points:

1. As long as you get the Moogle Charm, Life 3 and have Berserk you don't need levels to finish the Tower. You do need quite a bit of FIREpower to beat down the White Dragon in the middle of it (necesary for the 8 dragons sidequest), and he can't take the HEAT as much as other monsters in that HELLhole.
2. In that regard, you should go looking for other characters first and equip the necesary Magicite's to some so they can learn Life 3 and berserk. I'd recommend getting Locke now, since you fight quite a bit in the Phoenix Cave, and then proceeding to Narshe to get Mog and Umaro.

And again: This let's play is awesome.

Well, I think the White Dragon would be pretty hard to fight unless I knew his weakness, so I'm not sure about that plan. Except that Scan/Libra would tell me anyway if you hadn't.

I'm probably gonna take over the updating again soon since my exams are over, so you can expect regular updates ASAP. In general they'll be on Fridays as usual, but due to the recent break (also because I don't plan to update on Boxing Day) it'll be a little more frequent for the next bit. If all goes well, there'll be one tonight, and the next maybe on Monday. Not sure when the next one will come after that, but it'll be prompt, I assure you. I wanna hurry up and finish this so I can move on to other stuff, and the end is in sight.

Ugh, if only we knew a treasure hunter! A treasure hunter who would be able to hunt for the keys to the doors, or maybe even bypass the locks completely!

That pickpocket was right... the doors are all LOCKEd. It's too bad there's no TREASURE HUNTER around to help us out, I'm sure he would be a big help after an epiphanical dream sequence or three from other games.

Sometime later, a rooster, also known as a COCK, crows due to daybreak.

"Hey, cool, is that like a volcano or something? Because that's a badass place for a training montage."

"Don't forget the camera. We need progressive shots showing slight improvements over time. And somebody pick an inspirational song to go with it!"

Viewers, this is where you come in! We need two teams of four - that means we're either going to have to split up our useful characters or have one useless team. Send in your votes for who goes where!

And Celes and Terra shall be seperated. And you know, you wouldn't had this much trouble if there would have been love towards silly ones and their dogs. Then both parties would have four members but no, because there is no love for silly ones and their dogs, you don't have full parties, because You seems to be somewhere else.
