How abouts instead of a thread as to who should/could be a mod, why don't we discuss what makes a good mod a good mod?

I say a person who doesn't anger easily, knows how to decipher tone on the internet for the most part, is nice enough to get forumites to like them, but stern enough to punish somebody who deserves it, even if they are their friend.

Another good trait to have, in my opinion, is somebody who's humble enough that having a super-special bold name doesn't inflate their ego.

(Also, I'm pretty ~~surprised~~ impressed we haven't had anybody stressing out over how they haven't been named or whatnot.)

Well, I suppose I should post seriously now (either I posted and it got deleted, or I'm just going insane), but for a Mod, I'd seriously choose someone who is not really a part of any of the groups/cliques around here. I just think you're more likely to get less favoritism and other potential complications.

Dispite my lack of posts, I would like to apply for the position. I feel that I have the responsability and the hatred for the new RaiRO community nesessary to become a Mod worthy of the ban hammer.
