I'm going to guess its a redirect or broken role. There is no advantage to lieing about a (possibly) broken role to say a dead guy was not scum.

So the real question is are you a mafia role redirecter or does he have a broken role. I'd like to know more about his role and investigations.

After reading through the last billion pages, I am of the opinion that Pink Bunny is a Role Blocker. Nothing else would explain what they are able to do.
