According to Fenris, and it makes a lot of sense, because the cult inducted mafiates, there were fewer scum working against the town, giving the town an advantage. Almost every time we killed a mafiate, we also hurt a cult. But I'm not sure I agree with him, entirely. In my mind, the advantage to the cult of controlling a mafia outweighed the advantage the town gained by having fewer enemies.

I'm not saying it is a good thing in all circumstances, I'm just saying in the end it essentially won the town the game, as well as good plays by the Town Militia. If you hadn't gotten the CondaMusic all at once, you'd be pretty boned.

Ryan: Naw. At the time when I managed the list Ape Boy didn't claim any role at all. Remember? I put him as cleared on the basis that he was a replacement for someone, then I later revoked it, then after awhile you maintained the lists. 'Course after awhile I started idling cause there came a point where there was little more to do in the game with my role. More of a spectator's seat. I was mostly protective of Mooooooogle.

In fact I'd like to point out that I was extremely lucky in guessing Doppler was the other cult leader and ratting him out like I did. It was a gamble I was willing to take though since Zavage had already told everyone that I was targetting people on Night 1. So I figured, shit what the hell I'll try to take down our biggest rival and went after the only piece of evidence I could find. Later on after I had started trying to get Doppler lynched though I realized that it was VERY possible that the other cult could have infiltrated our mafia on Night 2 instead which would have killed my theory. Luckily I was right though.

Ah, but here's the thing. Ape Boy, who claimed to be Condantino, turned out to be the Cult Leader.

My theory wasn't that a Condantino was cult leader (because that obviously would never work in a balanced mod). My theory was that one of the Condantinos were in fact the leader and not actually a Condantino, and his cult members were there to back it up.

Which you shot down.

EDIT- I also said that, regardless of if the Condies weren't the leader, that their claiming to be hunting cult was an outright lie and a cover for their true intentions, which was to let our guard down. Which you also shot down.

? He didn't claim to be a Condantino at the time, and if he did he blended it in much later that I somehow didn't see. Ape was one of the few role-less people that persisted past the list's inception. I was mostly naggy when people kept insisting Moogle must die.

My biggest stupid was by far thinking the Militia was fake, considering the intro post. lol

PB single handedly managed to be the most pro-town in my eyes, (except for my militia buddies), while still being the person I lost the most sleep over.

I figure I might as well sum up too.

As you can tell, my original role wasn't don of the mafia. I was the bodyguard. Our don died very early and I took over. I thought we were doing okay since there didn't seem to be any reason to target us, even though it got down to just BReal II and me.

On my last night alive as Zilla I, I was debating targetting wasoe or someone else, I forget who. I wonder how differently it would have gone if I had targetted Wasoe instead?

Then I died and much much much later I replaced Twiddy. And I was right about h4x.
