this is the one used for Purple Tyrant

your curiosity can rest forever now in knowing that the plagiarist was so fucking lazy that he not only left the song unchanged, but picked songs that directly follow one another on the source album.

I think it was Radiation alone who was sorting the music, and he hasn't played Frozen Synapse. Nor have quite a lot of people, for that matter. It's an indie game.

No. If Radiation did it alone then I can understand why he might have missed it. It's not like he runs out and checks each track against everything in existence or anything, so it wasn't his fault necessarily. I guess whoever did it thought no one would notice.

firstly: it wasn't just Radiation reviewing the songs, the entire music team was. he says as much on his tumblr.

Secondly: FS may be an indie game, but its an indie game that recently got a lot of exposure for being the featured game in one of the more recent Humble Bundle deals.

Indeed, which increased the odds that at least one person involved with the album had played it.

We've mentioned Frozen Synapse a couple of times in the Games forum, in addition to the extra exposure it got through the Humble Bundle, and it might've even had it's own thread at one point (I don't remember) but there are still a bunch of people on the forum who didn't/don't know about the game. So really it's not all that surprising that a small group of people missed the plagiarism.
