I actually had my own sub-theory, of, do trolls even have sexes? I mean, they could identify one way or the other, gender-identity-wise, but do they necessarily have different biology, if they can pair with any other troll as long as their kismesis or redrom is good enough?

Though, that it seems now to be cloning rather than mating together, this puts a damper on that idea.

The Condesce was trying to make humans like trolls in every way, from lusus to blood color. I never thought trolls naturally had sex with buckets but I don't think this update says much on the matter.

Yeah, I think that what we know of trollreproduction is fairly accurate, and the Condesce tried a very, VERY poor method of getting humans to conform to the troll method.

I'm starting to wonder if any of the planets in the Condesce's "empire" survived past the first few generations PC.

Well these kids won't be doing any ectobiology, since they're from the Beta session and not their own.

There has to be ectobiology in this session, because what we know about Scratches is that, among other things, they switch up the order of the distribution of the ectobiologized kids throughout the host planet's history.

There was ectobiology in both troll sessions, for example. All that changed (in terms of ectobiology) is when each grub got sent to.

Except we recently learned that the Alpha!Kids aren't from their own session because of how the scratch works. The eight ecto-babies created in the Beta!verse were simply sent to different times when the Scratch was activated. They still originate in the Beta Session, it's just that when Skaia changes which times they go to it creates a massive temporal backlash and time essentially starts over in order to sort out the paradox.

It was also stated that the pre-scratch trolls didn't create their paradox clones in their session, which is one of LE's calling cards. Which is especially fucked up because the Scratch switches the target time of certain Skaian defense portals, yet that would mean when the first trolls activated the scratch, it altered the time destinations of the post-scratch portals. Though really that's the kind of time fuckery you would expect from LE's calling card.

The idea is that a lot of people believed Dirk had a tremendous amount of in-game knowledge, so far as knowing that they all came from game slime from a previous dimension.

I suggest you read this and the next two pages again.

They're replicated through the gates which send them to two places: the original universe, and then retroactively to the reset universe once the Scratch happens. That's why all the babies end up having the same items they landed in both universes. Also why there doesn't need to be any Reckoning: the only thing from the reset session that needs to be sent is the Frog Temple.
