The homestuck fandom is so batshit crazy, I honestly can't tell if the family is in on the joke, or if the kid did it to fuck with his (her? hard to tell with the shades and hair/wig) family. Or if this is some fictive headmate shit that the family is grudgingly accepting.

Seems a touch anticlimactic if that were the case. Plus, unless Lord English is caused by a time device (or Juju, I guess is now the explanation), it likely wouldn't have too much of an effect on him, since its supposed to destroy such items and remove all their effects from the timeline. Actually, if it can be used to destroy whatever Juju causes his rise, I kinda shudder to imagine just what retroactively removing Caliborn's rise to Lord English from the timeline would do. His actions and rise are so entrenched into stable time loops that it would be insanity. Certainly it would remove every action he took as Lord English, which would, at the very least, mean the removal of that server from the Furthest Ring, the Demoness's actions on Alternia, the Baterwitch, the Felt, Snowman's nature as a lynchpin on the universe, one of the armageddons that formed the Green Motherfucking Sun, things would change so fundamentally as to make the Scratch look like nothing.

As far as I can speculate, anyway.
