Guess trickster mode was less like Mario's star power up and more like Fallout 2 power ups. Yay game balance.

Trickster is less Star and more Super Guide.

You beat the level, but you still don't know how to make that jump.

No, the super guide still shows you the level and a way to beat it.

Trickster Mode is more like lending your copy of Ocarina of Time to a friend so they can start a new file, only to find when you get the cartridge back that while it's still Zelda, you're in a place you no longer recognise, there's a dirty great moon falling on your head, and the cartridge has suspicious stains on it.

Even after I learned, grew up, and came to be on the right side of a lot of important issues, I was still angry, abrasive, and generally increased the amount of hate in the world, in pretty unacceptable ways.
