I can't really say for sure but I don't think that was actually Bec so much as Jade's perception of Bec via her connection to the dreambot. Like how Jade can type on her dream computer all day but it's not really the computer that's connected to the internet that she's using to chat with John or Dave or toss weird things into seizure kernels at Dave's apartment. It's just a manifestation of the sensory information she's getting through the robot that's physically interacting with everything in the real world.

But I'll accept that this does up the relative amounts of evidence in favor and against Bec's ability to freely enter the medium as equally insignificant.
