e: So, I'm going to choose to believe that everyone's finding various ways to achieve "god tiers" now, and we'll get a human+troll group to face Jack. They don't have a lot of time until he's unlocked again, though, so I'm not yet sure how it will happen.

I'm still a little confused as to why we still don't know what this 'critical event' is, if it happened right after DreamJade got prototyped and blew up the tower, why are things still progressing like normal? Of course, since the trolls are a little bit off kilter in terms of time scheme, but Jade's trying to talk to them in a linear fashion, so shouldn't we be seeing at least some hint of what's going on...?

Technically since the trolls can see any moment in the kids' timeline any time they want, the Critical Moment wasn't so much dream Jade being prototyped.

It was just Gamzee watching dream Jade being prototyped at the same time the countdown ended.

All we know is that a timer for the troll time line is counting down to a "critical event," and that when this event occurs, a blood-covered Gamzee (who is apparently the most important character in Homestuck) is watching Jade's tower collapse. That is not to say the critical event happens at that moment, it's just that Gamzee is watching that at the occurrence of the critical event.

Meanwhile we kind of jumped back in time, 4 hours and 13 minutes before the event, to see Aradia's god-tier rebirth thingy, and then 3 hours and 14 minutes before the event (although possibly later since its doubtful Tavros was falling for so long) to see Vriska beat Tavros. And that at 2:41 before the event we see Tavros land, but we have no idea where in that time frame Kanaya is talking to Jade, due to the lack of apparent timer.
