Actually I think and hope it will remain just one. I mean Scratch told Karkat not to turn his back on the body. Not bodies.

If there will be more revivals I'll be disappointed because... well. Guess what else dies and gets revived all the time and no one cares because it happens all the time to every character? long running comic book superheroes. Please, let Homestuck not become like that. Death shouldn't be as cheap as that in stories.

Oh, I'm allright with character death as such. But Kanaya and Fef really just weren't well done. Those two are great characters, I don't want to see them go like that. I'm not counting these as real "deaths", because they have none of the lead-up, none of the justification, none of the emotional connection. I'd be pissed as hell of bro came back, for instance. But I'd be just as pissed if Fef died for good without making it a good death.

Personally I don't think it was handled poorly, sure, there was only minimal buildup but those two were rather minor characters. I thought these deaths were supposed to be shocking and sudden. Considering that I think it was pulled off well.

I can see where you're coming from, though. And I don't mind Kanaya coming back. I wouldn't mind any of them coming back. I just don't want death to become nothing more than a mild annoyance. Like, hey, he just killed off three characters but the only effect this'll have on the story will be that one has/all have a craving for blood now.

EDIT: Yeah, except Feferi, because we know what happens to her. Maybe that living on in dream bubbles thing is directly due to Kanaya's magic bloodsucking, or something. Because Kanaya secretly was a vampire all along. Death without finality etcpp.
