I just have a feeling that Vriska is going to A: Have to confront Terezi (everything Terezi's done up to this point would be nullified if Vriska were killed before their confrontation) and B: have at least one more interaction with John.

I wonder if Vamp!Kanaya will actually join the battle and assist Vriska. She did seem to be following Eridan, after all. That's an interesting theory. Maybe the ancestor's journal will reflect on the fact that the dead slave became a Rainbow Drinker and saved her from annihilation. Like, we'll be built up to a moment where it looks like Vriska's going to die by Eridan's hand, and the journal reflects on a similar event occurring with her ancestor, and then suddenly Kanaya shows up and shit hits the fan.

TWIST ENDING: Eridan kills Vriska, establishing that sometimes, trolls just don't do exactly what their ancestors did.

But yeah. Still rooting against Eridan. Granted, that isn't hard.

Pit Eridan against just about anyone in this comic, and I'd be rooting against Eridan.

Well, Vriska's ancestor is playing the part of the narrator, but saying what she's GOING to do, not what she's done. There's a big difference, in terms of survival, there.

Actually, Vriska's dice and Eridan's gun were found on the same sunken ship, if you'll recall. Evidence suggests that their ancestors died together.

Also, all the foreshadowing so far has been suggesting that Vriska falls against Jack and Eridan has a face-off against Rose, and unless said face-off ends up happening against Eridan's dream bubble ghost then my money's on neither of them dying here.
