Y'know, Despite knowing her as "Mom Lalonde" I somehow forgot that she was in fact Rose's mother. I never realized that Rose in particular would have a bad reaction to this because of that.

Even if they reset, things won't be the same. They might not even be the players of the new session.

I wonder what John's reaction is. I keep picturing him with a serious/derpy face while all windy hell breaks out on the background.

As far as I understood it they (or instances of them) will be the players of the reset session. Though, they might not at all resemble the kids we know and love personality and appearance-wise because some relevant parameters are changed, with the intention to make them not screw up so hard this time.

And depending on your personal definition of what self means those could be different kids or the same growing up to be completely different people or, who knows, they might just become pretty similar.

It's kind of fitting that the one who seemed most distanced from her parent/guardian would be the one hit the hardest by her being killed.

...I mean most distanced who hadn't already long-since had their guardian die and then be taxidermied.

So Jade's grandson is going to talk to her and appearify stuff from the future in an alternate version of Jade's session to the wiped out past version of said session?

I dunno, kind of a hard pill to swallow.
