Was browsing the MSPA forums to see if Hussie dropped any sly hints or anything, and I saw someone point this out:

I'm glad they caught that. I would have really regretted not knowing about that circle.

That's a map of the Medium. Every other instance it has come up, it has four planets (aside from Prospit/Derse) orbiting Skaia, and the 7 gates between each planet and Skaia (see below). But for some reason, that one has eight planets. It's a very curious find.

Edit: Well, ALMOST every other instance, but that one has another reason for how it looks.

Point is, near everything has driven in the point of four planets. But the terminal in Skaianet's lab has a map that shows eight planets.

Well, I've also known people to snoop on their crushes, out of curiosity. I could have cared less what was in my brother's stuff, but I guess the kid sister / older brother dynamic is different. Rose's journals remind me a little of how I wrote my kid diaries in code to thwart that specific shenanigan. Either way, I never expected any serious romantic development anyway, partly because they're 13 and partly because it's Hussie and I still remember the Problem Sleuth epilogue.

As for the possibility of 8 planets instead of four, I just try to take updates as they come, and leave it at that. I've tried the path of obsessive speculation, and in that way leads to madness.

I think my favorite part of the latest series of updates was the whole "YOU ARE THE STAR" and "ITS YOU" on the echeladder rankings.

Yeah, we got a good chuckle out of that. Though I think my favorite thing is either baby Dave's Bro breaking into the tube or baby Rose and baby Rose's Mom playing pattycake in probably their only moment of getting along.
