My favorite part of that game was that you could run around using all manner of powers and drain only a portion of a battery. But punching a motherfucker in the face took a whole one.

If it didn't cost a battery I'd never use anything else.
They had to do something to balance Jensen's mighty fists against his guns.

On the off chance that someone is taking a trip down memory lane looking through those old threads, I wanted to devote my signature to say directly to you, I'm sorry. Thank you for letting me be better, NPF. |

This is seriously the most civilized and reasonable implosion I've ever seen in my life.

I am going to pretend to interpret this in such a way as to allow me to say "Now POS knows how I felt."

So I had a random thought that is gonna sound completely ridiculous, but the more I look at it, the more I start to think I'm gonna look back on it later and realise it meant something. 'Cause it's Hussie and the more you examine Homestuck in retrospect, the more bits of writing you see on the wall. So I'm gonna put this to you guys, and hope we don't have to get bogged down in debating whether it means anything or not.
In the topbar bits where Aradia ran into what was presumably Lord English, there was that alt text with the huge flashing letters that are pretty distinct from anything else. If you look at those letters in the last one, the two with black faces are L and E: Lord English. That's simple enough. I was going back through the comic today looking for the image of John holding his Vriskahoo hammer (if anyone has a link to that, I'd appreciate it), and I remembered this. The text flashes more slowly, but it's essentially the same stuff. I'm pretty sure that isn't the only page with writing like that, but I'm not gonna search them all out right now. For kicks, I looked at all the letters whose faces flashed black, and came out with "WHOISDOBAG," or to go a step further: "Who is dobag" which I would have written off as the random gibberish I pretty much expected to get by doing this, except it hit me that DOBAG looks really suspiciously similar to the world abbreviations: LOHAC, LOWAS, LOLAR, LOFAF, etc. Abbreviations haven't exactly been unimportant in narrative, and Hussie pretty consistently covers every angle. It's REALLY reaching, but if it WERE to mean something, what might the letters stand for?

Actually, it looks more like a reference to "Who's this douchebag?"
