Not to pull the topic too far off from where it is, but did anyone suggest UU being this universe's First Guardian?
I mean the only experience we have with a Scratched universe is the Troll's, and in that one apparently Doc was the being that lead everyone around in the ancestor Troll-verse? And with the Green Sun gone, grey could be the color of choice. Just tossing that on to the pile of suspicion if it isn't already in it.

A couple things, assuming we believe what UU says (No reason not to).
UU has stated that she isn't part of the kid's scratched universe. She is going to play SBURB (Or her universe's variant) so she isn't likely a First Guardian. The Green Sun still exists, the tumor didn't destroy it, it created it. I initially thought she was the First Guardian of Alternia pre-Scratch, but her being a player makes me not believe that.

I just wanted to pipe in and say that I'm very impressed with the way Lalonde and Strider seem to be working exactly in-character with what we know of them. Strider in particular is a total asshole, but at the same time very much a tough-love-wise-teacher type. Also, the first time I read through that chatlog, I misunderstood the auto-responder concept as being an entire chat that Strider planned out from the very beginning, writing a program to send pre-recorded messages in programmed intervals that exactly matched what Jake was saying only due to incredible forethought on DS's part.

Well, the whole "Maybe he should just rip his heart out of his chest and pound it into green gravel there in the jungle with his hella strong robot arm." line, that was a modified line of Vriska's, when she was arguing with... I dunno, someone. Even used the phrase "robot arm".
As for Equius, well, Jake does happen to be a dude who assembled a robot for the sole purpose of wrestling it. |

Look on the bright side, Jake. Now you won't have to worry about the robot blatantly groping you when you're wrestling.
It'll just sneak-grope you while it's tossing you around the place.

I think the Equius one is how he was head over heels for Aradiabot before he entered, and the glasses are suggesting an erotic fantasy between Brobot and Jake.
Not sure about the vriska one. |

Aradia pounding her heart into blue mush with her robot arm was a reference to the chatlog where Vriska threatened to do just that.
References within references, but Auto here used the specific phrasing that Vriska used. I mean, compare Quote:
