I sort of hope Bro is gay if only because it's really Andrew's last chance to include a canonically gay human character in a semi-major role in the storyline.

(I know there's still plenty of speculation regarding Rose, but I honestly think Andrew's going to deliberately remain vague with her and I don't think we'll ever receive explicit confirmation on her sexuality or whether she likes John or Kanaya more, because it seems like Andrew likes keeping most ships afloat. Bro is really his last chance to have a clear-cut -- and male -- gay character.)
