I don't think Karkat is quite likely to ever legitly go god tier.

LOPAH and his Prospit are both gone.

Unless he gets another shot at it in the Alpha session.

The biggest piece of evidence I can think of for it being a dead doomed timeline Karkat is that him hooking up with Nepeta would sort of mirror what happened with dead doomed timeline John. At the very least, doomed John's appearance showed us that doomed timeline characters make it to the afterlife just fine, and are fully capable of interacting with characters from different timelines.

Also, the dream bubbles are part of the Furthest Ring, which doesn't really have linear time in the proper sense.

No, not linear time, but I'm saying that a god tier ALPHA Karkat would pretty much have to be older due to the fact that there's really no way he could go god tier on the asteroid (although who even knows on that one). Any memory he would have of being god tier would be of an at least slightly older form of himself. Granted, I'm not sure and difference of three years in age would be represented in sprite form so well, but I think he'd at least look different.

Like I said in my post though, I would by no means write the possibility off; I'm just pointing out one of the problems with it being alpha Karkat.
