You are demented. Family Guy is generally considered to be one of the funniest shows on television, and I believe one of the only shows in history to come back and make more episodes after being canceled as well as shitcanned. DVD sales and fan requests and rerun ratings caused them to re-evaluate the canceling, thus resulting in another season, and potentially more thereafter.
Anyways Futurama was good, Simpsons has more or less run out of steam (attempted revival with a Simpsons movie probably won't work, if you ask me) and I forecast Family Guy to be the front runner over time. Even if they end up making more Futurama eps later on.

It is a shame because I didn't really cre about Futurerama at all when it was originally on FOX but now I watch it on Cartoon Network and realize how hilarious it is.
ANd While Family Guy is FREAKING HILARIOUS. It has little redeeming value. OUtside of just being pretty funny in a random no commitment to a storyline kinda of way. Its like the Simpsons used to be just on crack. Its like My Mortal Kombat vs Street Fighter analogy... sure Street Fighter was animated and beautiful too look at, character we all know and love, and was complex to play... but Mortal Kombat had blood. And Scoprion.

Well with more episodes coming out, a direct to dvd movie, a cd, and an offer to do a broadway show. Family Guy just didn't return. Fox let them bitch lap them and then had them a check for doing it! Anyways, Futurama did get cut short. Now if they would of ended the Simpsons and THEN started doing Futurama they might of lasted more then 4 seasons. BTW a interview with Seth McFarland is on IGN.com here is the link:

Family guy is funny in a ludacris sort of way. The jokes are mostly puns whereas the Simpsons and Futurama rely on some other forms of humor. Granted the puns are still there but that's almost all Family Guy runs on.
I think they decided to continue the Simpsons so there wouldn't be much of a chance of any other show surpassing its longevity. Kind of a prestige thing I think.

Puns suck. Monkey balls, that is.
And Futurama is awesome. That is just a brilliant little show. Fry is funny, because he admits his own stupidity. "Well, I've finally decided who's going to be the new leader around here. He's not fully mentally developed yet, but I have faith in him." And Fry starts doing this dance. |

Yes, Futurama should have been much longer. But while I'm mad that it got cut short, I'm even madder at the way they ended it. Why the hell did they end it like that? It just made me mad that something that seemed like a normal episode turned out to be a very rushed ending. Geez, they should have done something better than that for a final episode.
