The Robot Devil shows up in several episodes, most notably Hell is Other Robots, where Bender goes to robot hell. As for the Holophoner, it shows up in Parasites Lost, because Fry is able to play one after the worms improve everything about him. You should see the last episode, then, if you want to see what his hands do, the most notable thing is that they let Fry play the Holophoner masterfully, which, as Leela states in an earlier episode, "Only a few people in the world can play the Holophoner, and they aren't very good at it." |

This I've got to see.
But it's strange I never saw it, I watched it a while in reruns (dubbed in french, unfortunately). I hope I catch it soon before it's pulled off the air.

One thing I don't like is how in the worm episode, leela states that only a few people in the whole universe can play a holofoner, and even then they're not very good.
Whereas in the robot hands episode, there is a bunch of kids playing the holofoner in a recital. I suppose these kids could be the few in the universe, but still...

Meh, the same way Star Trek was outlawed and Fry couldn't shut up about it during the early episodes, if its for the good of a joke, they'll forsake continuity.

The pilot for Megas XLR(best. show .EVER!) a few years ago. Then it came back as a full fledged show. If u would like proof, in someplaces in the first episode, Coop has just dots for eyes and he is shiny, whereas in most of the first episode he has whites in his eyes.
Oh,and I love the one where bender goes to robot hell :Leela: come on now fry don't cry(or something like that) Fry: My ass has blisters from the slide! HILARIOUS! |

Later on though, someone got the idea to make the pilot into a series afterall, and that's how we have the Megas we do now. |

>_> *shifty eyes* So what if I didn't read the whole thread?
As an avid M*A*S*H watcher (I've really only started to see all the episodes recently), I loved the one Futurama parody of M*A*S*H that is hilariously true...in place of Hawkeye is iHawk--he of course makes the traditional cracks, then goes to a switch on his side and changes "irreverent" to "maudlin." 'When will the killling end?'

Wasn't that the episode with the Balls?
Another possible continuity error: Some of the world's monuments can be seen in their respective regions in at least one episode, while it was previously established than one mayor of New New York had them all moved to "monument beach". But I think Futurama had already established it didn't care much for continuity in the first episode, when the cryogenics building survives two alien destructions of New New York.
