Either she scaled the ship down or she scaled her fourth wall up, which effectively scaled the ship down to the size of the corresponding wall on the other side, since we already saw it being tiny in Hussie's library and the hole it came through in Jake's wall being similarly small.

So unless she adjusted the size of the battleship upon arrival, it and everything on it are eensy weensy. Which includes John.
